Willamette
Landscape Services, Inc. is proud to announce
it has been presented with a Distinction Award
for its work at Leighbrook Townhomes,
in the 31st Annual Environmental Improvement
Awards Program sponsored by the Associated
Landscape Contractors of America (ALCA).
ALCAs
Environmental Improvement Awards Program reflects
the associations commitment to creating
and preserving the beauty of our landscape.
The program is designed to reward landscape
contracting professionals who execute quality
projects and to recognize citizens who underwrite
such work. In sponsoring the Awards program,
ALCA also strives to increase public awareness
of environmental improvement through quality
landscaping and to encourage the consistent
use of quality materials and workmanship.
ALCA
is a national trade association representing
more than 2,000 interior and exterior landscape
maintenance, installation, and design/build
contractors.

The
Oregon Landscape Contractors Association (OLCA)
today recognized Willamette Landscape Services
with top honors for both of the annual award
categories for maintenance of multi-family
properties. Leighbrook Townhomes in
the Forest Heights area of northwest Portland,
and Highland Park Condominium in Tigard
were each selected as this years best examples
of landscape maintenance for multi-family
communities in Oregon. The two categories
represent a division based on the annual dollar
amount of the landscape services.
This
years OLCA awards banquet was held at the
new Oregon
Garden in Silverton. Two years in
development, this project will be open to
the public April 1st, 2000. The Oregon Garden
will be under continued development and will
become a garden showcase of international
renown. We urge you to visit this premier
northwest attraction in the near future.

Lost-Time Accidents Award, and No Vehicle Accidents Award in the
Associated Landscape Contractors of America's (ALCA) Annual Employee
and Fleet Safety Contests. The contests cover the period of January
1,1998 to December 31, 1998.
