A jack of all trades, a man of mystery, a chameleon of sorts.....Dan does a lot of things. He has been a janitor, a high school teacher, & a member of a travelling punk rock band (no joke), before crash-landing in the Landscape field. He has a B.A. In Biology from Illinois State University, an Associates Degree in Landscape Design & Construction from Joliet Junior College, & has been busy collecting letters after the end of his name!
Dan moved here to escape the snow & humidity of the Midwest - what he found was a Gardener’s Paradise. He quickly learned all of the new plants that would never survive the winters of Illinois. He also brought along his wife, Leah, for this adventure. The adventure continued in 2011, when they welcomed their son Raine to the family. Dan loves music & can always be heard playing something random from his collection in the office. He is a brewer of beer, a fisher of salmon, & a lover of nature.
